Yes! Queen's TAs and TFs have a Union!

Queen's TAs and TFs voted today and the results are in. Graduate TAs and TFs voted YES for a union!

Change of Vote Location

The Ontario Labour Relations Board has ordered a change in vote location for the TA/TF unionization vote, the polling station will no longer be at Botterell Hall but in the JDUC, date and timing remain the same.

New Location:
                     McLaughlin Hall (Rm 241),
                     John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC)

Date:
                    Tuesday, March 23rd

Hours:
                    10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
                      &
                    3:00 PM -6:00 PM

On March 23rd Vote Yes for TAFA!

The Public Service Alliance of Canada has applied to the Ontario Labour Relations Board to represent the Graduate TAs and TFs at Queen's.

The Ontario Labour Relations Board has ordered the Vote for:

Tuesday, March 23rd

The polling station will be open from:

10am - 2pm

3pm - 6pm

The poll has been changed from Botterell Hall to McLaughlin Hall, Rm 241 of the John Deutsch Univesity Centre (JDUC)

Vote union for:

• Protection from budget cuts
• Employer-funded health and dental benefits
• Protection from harassment and overwork
• Paid maternity and parental leave, and childcare support
• A real say in working conditions
